National minority ensembles

“National minority ensembles operating in Poland and having Polish folklore in their repertoire. These are artistic formations that combine the cultural traditions of their native communities with Polish folk heritage. These ensembles play an important role in promoting multiculturalism and mutual understanding between the various ethnic groups living in Poland.

National minority ensembles, such as Ukrainian, Belarusian, Lithuanian, Slovak, German, Roma or Jewish, often include Polish folk songs, dances and rituals in their repertoire. In this way, they not only cultivate their own traditions, but also show how diverse and intermingled are the cultures living in Poland.
